  • Anirban “AC” Chakrabarti

    Anirban “AC” Chakrabarti

    CEO & Co-Founder

    AC was Global Vice President and General Manager at SAP where he managed the carbon and energy related cloud-based solutions business. AC co-founded Clear Standards along with Richard Mendis and Rakesh Rao, which rapidly became the market leading and award-winning SaaS solution for carbon, energy, and environmental compliance. Clear Standards was venture-backed, and acquired by SAP. Previously, AC was an executive at Siebel Systems, Inc. (acquired by Oracle), and a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Chakrabarti holds a B.S. in Information Systems and Accounting from George Mason University and is a graduate of the executive program at the Harvard Business School.

    Jon Bierman

    Chief Revenue Officer

    Jon is responsible for sales and revenue growth at AnyPresence. Jon is a 20-year veteran of the software, networking, and telecommunications industry. Previously, he managed global sales and operations at Netcordia (acquired by Infoblox) and Laurel Networks (acquired by ECI Telecom). Jon also held various sales and management positions at Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems and Tandem Computers. Jon holds a BA in Economics from Duke University, and an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

  • Richard Mendis

    Richard Mendis

    Chief Product & Marketing Officer; Co-Founder

    Richard Mendis has over 20 years in the software and information services industry. Most recently, Richard was Vice President of Solution Management at SAP, working in the CTO and sustainability offices. Richard joined SAP through the acquisition of his last startup Clear Standards, where he was co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer. Before that, he was Vice President of Marketing at Current Analysis, a technology research firm. Richard is a frequent speaker on a range of enterprise mobility topics across multiple industries, including healthcare and energy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.

  • Rakesh Rao

    Rakesh Rao

    CTO & Co-Founder

    Rakesh is a veteran enterprise software architect with over 17 years experience successfully managing both on-shore and off-shore application software development teams. Prior to co-founding AnyPresence, he was Vice President of Product Development at SAP Labs, where he managed a global engineering team. Rakesh joined SAP through the Clear Standards acquisition, where he was a co-founder and CTO. Before that, he was a Director of Product Marketing at Oracle, where he worked on the Fusion project to merge Oracle’s acquisitions of disparate software platforms. Rakesh joined Oracle through the acquisition of Siebel Systems, where he was responsible for architecting Siebel’s Marketing Automation suite. Rakesh was Vice President, Technical Product Management at Paragren Technologies, one of the earliest providers of marketing automation and analytics technology (acquired by Siebel Systems in 2001). Rakesh has a Masters in Engineering Management (Software Systems) from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Production Engineering, from the University of Mysore.

  • Susan Miller

    Susan Miller

    Chief Business Development and Strategy Officer

    Susan Miller manages enterprise partnerships, alliances, and strategy for AnyPresence. She has extensive sales, marketing, and strategy experience across a variety of companies and industries in the US, EMEA, and APAC. Most recently, Susan held a senior leadership role at The Corporate Executive Board, a global NYSE company, where she led an SMB start-up division, including responsibility for $60M+ growth, 175+ staff and 5000+ customers. She also developed CEB's Global Product Support advisory services and managed various Sales, Marketing, and Research teams. Prior to CEB, Susan was a strategy consultant for Mercer Management Consulting where she also helped author several intellectual capital publications on digital business design, and worked in Strategy and New Business Development at Staples. She split her college career between Wellesley and Dartmouth Colleges and completed executive education at Wharton. She is an active volunteer with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, an Acceleprise business mentor, a Board member of several non-profit organizations, and a member of the Army Navy Women's Tennis team.

  • Jeff Bozek

    Jeff Bozek

    Vice President of Engineering

    Jeff started his technology career as a Systems Engineer at Iron Mountain working on intellectual and digital property management solutions. He then become a consultant at Accenture specializing in application development and integration. From there he moved into the startup world and joined Gallium Technologies, a SaaS financial workflow offering for the transportation industry. He spent four years at Gallium building a team, the product, and the customer base as the VP of Product Development. After his time at Gallium he went on to found Coffee & Domains, a domain name registration and management application. He has extensive experience with J2EE, Ruby on Rails, and the development of web applications in general. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary.

    Before joining AnyPresence, Matt spent over 10 years as a marketer for small and medium size organizations. Most recently, Matt served as Senior Manager of Marketing at comScore Inc, where he helped establish online marketing programs, and led product marketing efforts for some of the company's most profitable syndicated products. Before that, he served as Marketing Communications Manager at Venable LLP, where he was recruited to help modernize the marketing programs for a top 100 Law Firm. Matt also managed marketing programs at Current Analysis, a leading competitive intelligence firm in the mobile telecommunications sector, and helped start-up a marketing and IT consulting firm called Market Vision early on in his career. Matt holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.

    Ryan Sober

    Director of Client Service

    Ryan has over 10 years of consulting experience implementing information systems for numerous customers in the utilities, telecommunications, and government industries with a focus on customer care and billing systems. He has led both small and large teams overseeing all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Prior to joining AnyPresence, Ryan was one of the first employees at ClearCarbon, a firm dedicated to helping Fortune 1000 organizations become more sustainable. At ClearCarbon, he managed the company's partnerships with several of the leading enterprise sustainability software vendors. In 2010, ClearCarbon was acquired by Deloitte Consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Business from Emory University and both a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Information Technology from the University of Maryland.

  • Vivek Gupta

    Vivek Gupta

    Director of Product Management

    Vivek brings in 10 plus years of software and telecom industry experience in the field of Product Management, Operations and Development. Prior to joining AnyPresence, Vivek was Senior Product Manager of communication and collaboration products and platforms at Research In Motion, driving product strategies, roadmaps and development. Before that, Vivek has held several key positions at Alcatel-Lucent handling teams and products across several countries. Vivek joined Alcatel through an acquisition of a telecom startup, Spatial Wireless, where he enjoyed software development responsibilities. Vivek has earned multiple patents and publications in his career.

    Vivek holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas and Bachelor of Engineering from University of Pune.

  • Khem Veasna

    Khem Veasna

    Senior Developer

    Khem has a Dual B.S. in Computer Science and Math from Northeastern University and a M.S. in Computer Science from Fitchburg State University.

    Prior to AnyPresence, he worked at Gallium (startup), interned at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and worked at PTC. He is experienced with JEE, Ruby on Rails and Matlab.

    In his continued drive to learn, he has worked with Fitchburg State University on NSF granted research projects with a recent focus on real-time software development and signal processing. He enjoys a good math problem, tennis and skiing. He also drinks way too much coffee.

  • Nass Asali

    Nass Asali

    Senior Developer

    Nass brings a wealth of knowledge in modern enterprise technologies and cutting edge mobile platforms. Prior to joining AnyPresence, Nass served as a Lead Developer at The Assist Group where he managed overall enterprise application architecture. During that time, he successfully led many complex software projects tailored for the catastrophic claims management market that relied heavily on cutting edge Java technology and business process automation to scale operations. His responsibilities included database infrastructure, configuration management for automated build tools and BI environments, and mentoring team members.

    Nass holds a Bachelor in Science degree in Computer Science from William & Mary. His interests include classical piano, gourmet cooking, and philosophy.

  • Rick Snyder

    Rick Snyder

    Senior Developer

    Before joining AnyPresence, Rick worked as a Solution Architect for Advance Auto Parts, building and shaping the technology vision for highly scalable, high-traffic Enterprise Java services utilized by the Advance Auto enterprise. While at Advance Auto, Rick was a key player in helping Advance launch their Retail E-commerce site in 2009, where he designed and developed systems responsible for inventory management and customer order fulfillment. Before joining Advance, Rick worked at Gallium Technologies, and Circuit City as a software developer in their E-Commerce department. He brings with him a wealth of expertise in Java, Java-based open source technologies, and building high-scale software services.

    Rick earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Richmond. His interests include golf, swimming, music, and skiing.

    Randall Morey

    Frontend Engineer

    Randall builds our user interface as a front-end web developer working on building HTML5 mobile web components and the admin UI for AnyPresence. Prior to AnyPresence, Randall worked for nearly 5 years as a front-end web developer at Dealer.com building their scalable web platform. Randall studied liberal arts at CCV, but really got his start in web development at Dealer.com. When he’s not writing code, Randall enjoys reading and being outdoors: running, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, etc. And he really enjoys entertaining

  • Betsy Atkins

    Betsy Atkins

    Chairman

    Betsy Atkins is a highly acclaimed public company Board Director, author, and the former CEO and Chairman of Clear Standards. Ms. Atkins has served on some of the world’s most visible global public company boards. For 20 years, she has worked behind the scenes at companies like Lucent, HealthSouth, Vonage, Paychex Corp and Secure Computing.

    Ms. Atkins started her business career as an entrepreneur, co-founding several successful high technology and consumer companies including blockbuster Ascend Communications, which grew to $5.4B and was acquired by Lucent in one of the largest mergers in history. Ms. Atkins is an effective operational leader, having been CEO three times, dramatically scaling, building, and repositioning businesses resulting in acquisitions and public offerings. She has a strong international and operational perspective encompassing the full range of experience from explosive growth to restructuring.

    Ms. Atkins has been known for her early stage venture capital firm Baja LLC’s technology investments in companies such as Yahoo and eBay. She has authored several publications on corporate governance, and was appointed by President George Bush as a member of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Trust Company.

    Ms. Atkins is an alumni of the University of Massachusetts, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and Trinity College Oxford.

    Kinetic Ventures and its predecessor, has managed capital for power utility investors for over 25 years. Jake is a Director of NYSE Blue (NYSE Carbon Exchange), SmartSynch (smart grid solutions), and a former director of Clear Standards (carbon management, SAP acquired), Peace Software (utility billing, First Data Corp acquired), Xenergy (demand side management, acquired by Energy East), and Liberty Technologies (nuclear safety, IPO). He received his BA degree from Roanoke College and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

    Michael Boustridge was most recently President of BT Global Services, where he was responsible for providing networked IT services to global enterprises in more than 176 countries. Mr. Boustridge has extensive global experience in the IT and telecommunication services sector. Prior to joining BT, Mr. Boustridge was Chief Sales and Chief Marketing Officer at EDS, where he was responsible for management of enterprise-wide Marketing, Branding, Market Management, Product Marketing, Global Sales and Business Development. Concurrently, he ran EDS’s Agility Alliance Program to align partners with EDS’s strategic roadmap for competitive advantage. Mr. Boustridge joined EDS in 1996 from Hitachi Data Systems and worked at IBM earlier in his career.

    A native New Zealander, Michael has served on the Board of Trustees for XPRIZE Foundation, an educational nonprofit prize institute whose mission is to create radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity, the Los Angeles World Council and currently serves as Board Director of Riverbed Technology (RVBD).

    A Greater Washington Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in IT services, Sid provides executive leadership and strategic direction and is a well-known expert in customer experience, business intelligence, and text mining.

    Over his career, Sid has amassed nearly 20 years of business intelligence leadership experience. Prior to Clarabridge, he co-founded Claraview, was a founding employee at MicroStrategy, and has held management positions at Ernst & Young and Sprint International. Sid has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

    Glenn Eisen

    Chief Marketing Officer, Dish Digital

    Glenn Eisen has more than 25 years of marketing experience holding executive positions in leading Internet, technology and CPG-direct businesses. Mr. Eisen is a former Executive Vice President, Marketing for Guthy-Renker, LLC., Marketing Senior Vice President at Vonage and Marketing Senior Vice President for AOL Time Warner. Mr. Eisen is a recipient of a number of marketing awards including an Effie.

    Glenn Eisen is the Vice Chairman and Board Officer for the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and is a graduate of the School of Business Administration at Georgetown University.
